There are different types of build plates and it is essential to know what plate to use for what material, whether glue stick is needed or not, and whether or not door/top plate needs to be open/removed or not.

For the official Bambu build plates, the name of the plate is indicated on the plate itself, including which filament it supports.

The cool and hot plate is replaceable stickers that is applied to one (or both) side of the engineering plate.

The Cool Plate supports:

* PLA
* PLA-CF
* Wood/Metal/Rock-filled PLA
* PVA

The bed temperature when printing with the cool plate by standard is 35C, but it supports printing up to 45C.

Glue stick is required when printing with the cool plate.

==== Engineering plate ====

The Engineering plate is located on the other side of the cool plate.

The engineering plate supports:

* PETG
* PETG-CF
* ABS
* ASA
* PC
* PA
* PA-CF/GF
* PAHT-CF/GF
* PET-CF/GF
* TPU

Depending on the filament, the engineering plate supports temperatures between 60 - 120C.

==== PEY/PEO plates ====

The PEY and PEO plate has various patterns that will transfer to the print. The PEY plates have a rainbow holographic pattern, while the PEO plate has polygons.

These plates are to be used the same way as the High temperature plate.

Note that it does not have the plate identification code, so you will need to confirm continuing the print after bed leveling has been done.

It is important to clean these plates with water and soap before each print for best results.

These plate supports:

* PLA
* PETG
* TPU

Since these plates print at around 55C, it is required to open the door and remove the top plate when printing PLA.

=Payment at CRF=
Payment at CRF is easy! It is fully self-service and you can pay either by card or Swish (although we prefer that you pay by card).

For CRF to be able to continue provide our members with components, filaments, foods and access to tools, it is important that everyone pays for what they use. We aim to offer what we sell at CRF to the same price as we buy them.

The most important rule is to pay for the things you use right away. This is both to prevent forgetting to pay for stuff, but also to make it easier for us to make certain that things are being paid for properly.

=Payment methods=
At CRF we offer two payment methods, debit/credit card, and Swish.

==Card==
We much prefer payment by card, as it is generally both cheaper for us than Swish and easier to do the accounting and see what is being sold at CRF.

Payment is made using the iPad located on the snacks cabinet in the inner room. If it hasn't been used for a while, the screen might be off, just press the home button and it should turn on, and our payment system (Zettle) should open.

In the payment system, you will find various items and categories. Most items has the price listed, either by amount or per unit (g, m2 etc). If your item is not listed, for example components without a price, you enter your price manually. But if the item exists in the system, it should be used before the "other" option is used, so that we can do accounting easier.

After you have selected the items you want to buy, confirm the item list and the amount, and press "Card". You can now tap your card to the white card reader next to the iPad (or use chip). Enter your PIN if asked, and then you should be done when you see the confirmation on the screen.

Zettle has a minimum payment of 10SEK. Since we do have some items that is less than 10SEK, please check the section about gift cards below, as gift cards do not have this limit.

==Swish==
We also offer Swish as a payment method, and you can find our Swish number above the iPad (and as QR codes). However since Swish is rather expensive, '''please only Swish over 100SEK'''. Swish also makes it harder for us to know what is being sold for the accounting. Please write as a message what you are buying.

=What can be bought at CRF?=
==3D filament and inserts==
If you use any of the filament at CRF, you need to pay for it per gram you use, this include all support material. After you have removed your print, weight it on the scale under the iPad, select the filament type under material on the iPad and enter the weight.

==Components==
There are various components for sale at CRF. Some of the components have a price, while others do not. If they do not have a listed price, you pay what you think it is worth. Do a search, check what it might cost on AliExpress or similar sites.

Some of the components are added in the payment system, and if they are, please use those. If they are not added, or for components without a price, there is a "Other components" item where you enter the price yourself.

==Food and snacks==
We have snacks in the snacks cabinet, and soda and water in the refrigerator to the right. The prices for this are added in the payment system.

==Materials==
There are various kinds of materials that can be bought, like wood, metal and acrylic sheets. When buying acrylic sheets that you for example laser cut, measure a rectangle around what you cut. This should be entered as the square meter in the iPad when paying for the material.

==Membership==
You can also pay your membership. Membership is 100SEK/year and is valid between July 1 - June 30 the following year. If paying with card, please enter your name in the notes field so that we can confirm that you have paid your membership. If you pay with Swish, you only need to write "Membership" as message, as we can see who the payment comes from (however, if you are paying for someone else, please enter their name as message).

=Gift cards=

You can now buy gift cards on the iPad. Select the "Gift card" product on the main page, then select a custom amount, enter your email (make sure it is correct), write down the code (it will also be mailed to you), and pay using card. The gift cards are only valid for 3 years (the maximum the system allows), so do keep that in mind and don't put down a too big amount, as we cannot refund the gift cards.

The next time you buy something, you can pay with the gift card by pressing "All payment methods", select gift card and enter the code. This way you are not hindered by the minimum 10 SEK limit, and can pay for that 5 SEK 3D print or one can of soda.
